This light and refreshing chicken salad swaps Greek yogurt for mayonnaise and includes sliced almonds, chopped apple and fresh thyme. Ingredients
- 1 can (12 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Butter Flake Crescent Rolls (8 Count)
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup chopped apple (Pink Lady or Honeycrisp)
- 1 stalk celery, chopped (about 1/3 cup)
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 1 cup plain whole milk Greek yogurt (5% milkfat)
- 2 teaspoons honey
Instructions

Step1Bake crescent rolls as directed on can. Transfer to cooling rack to cool completely, about 20 minutes.

Step2Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix chicken, apple, celery, onion, almonds and thyme; set aside.

Step3In small bowl, mix yogurt, honey, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Stir yogurt mixture into chicken mixture; mix until well combined.

Step4To serve, cut crescent rolls in half horizontally. Divide mixture evenly among bottom halves of cut rolls, replacing tops to make sandwiches.
